Popups and adware are pretty harmless compared to the damage he could have inflicted from more worms, exploits and viruses. Interesting article, but I agree with you, we could probably do worse in 18 minutes!
I’m surprised it took that long. This is scary though. I tend to put my computer through some crap. I would never disable my anti’s though.
I like the newest Mac commercial…the one’s with the young “hip” guy and the dude in the suit. In the newest one “PC guy” has a virus.
I have a PC and a Mac. The Mac is the school’s computer. I brought it home for the summer to play with. I’d like to be much more Mac literate before I go back in the fall. I want to be able to help tech support around the school. You know, make myself indispensable.
