China’s pursuit to create better pigs
July 20th, 2005
China will be sending ‘pig sperm’ on board the Shenzhou VI spacecraft in October. Some of the sperm will be kept outside the biological capsule and some inside and the experiment is being carried out to study the effect of cosmic rays on pig sperm. China became the third country behind U.S and Russia to launch a human into space two years back but it will be the first to do this (the things people do to be the first in anything). During the mission in October, two astronauts will orbit the planet five or six times. These two Chinese astronauts were last seen in Hollywood looking for Porky Pig. I wonder why Porky Pig is pointing up in the picture. Maybe they did find him.

“Pigs In Space”… it may not be Porky Pig, but it was one of my favourite skits on the Muppet Show. Hilarious post! I used it as my water cooler conversation material this morning… everyone was laughing
Oh my word… *lol*
I wonder what they’re results will be.
Urgh, it’s late. I meant *their* results of course.
We can expect SuperPig to show up soon. lol
They are preparing to make a clone army of mutated pigs!
